The Florida Trust for Historic Preservation” has chosen the Old Lutz School to be the featured charrette for their 36th annual statewide preservation conference. The interactive workshop will focus on adaptive uses and financial incentives for this historic treasure located at 18819 US HWY 41 in Lutz. The workshop will take place on Friday, May 16 at the Tampa Downtown Hilton and be led by REG, Architects Inc. and the Hillsborough County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation. The preservation plan that will be developed during this session may offer wonderful incentives and opportunities for this iconic, two-story building.
